Most Spas are constructed with acrylic and fiberglass

All products which are built to last must start with a strong foundation. The ingredients of fiberlite are a composite of lightweight, fire retardant fillers, and a modified polyester resin which, when combined, promote a virtually unbreakable bond to acrylic surfaces. This composite is similar to those used in the auto and aerospace industries.
