OUR NEW HOT TUB

     We purchased our new hot tub (our first) this year from an Aqua Fun display at State Fair.  We had been thinking about buying a spa for some time, but could never decide where to place it.  Our yard size was never an issue- we have a little more than 1 acre.  However, the yard is rather irregular, with the bulk of the property being in front and on the side, and who wants to sit in a hot tub with neighbors and street traffic watching?  The solution was placing the spa off the south walk-out of our rec-room.

     After careful consideration of placement and aesthetics, we poured the concrete slab- another 1st!  Once the spa arrived, my husband installed decking and fencing, providing us with a convenient and fairly private area to relax in. 

     As well as providing a place to enjoy the spa we have a whole new area for additional outdoor enjoyment.  While the new patio area is rather small, its proximity to the rec-room greatly increases its functionality.  There is room for a small gas grill and café style table and chairs, and allows for easy indoor-outdoor entertaining during Packers games, birthday parties, etc.  The spa has given us outdoor living space that before had gone totally unused.

     Finally, why did we choose Aqua Fun?  The answer is location, location, location.  We shopped around, did our homework and the choice became obvious.  We live 5 minutes from their store on National Ave., and as first time spa owners, we figured we might have a question or two.  We had more than a few questions, but the staff has always been very patient, helpful and professional.  All of our questions/concerns are quickly taken care of.  The staff goes out of its way to explain what each chemical does, and when and how much to use.  The store carries an extensive line of competitively priced chemicals, covers, toys, etc., and if you sign up for the internet only specials, you can find some great deals.

While it might be a stretch to say the spa has changed our lives, it certainly has boosted our relaxation quotient.  Rarely a day goes by when my husband and I don’t spend half an hour before bed unwinding after a long day, and he’ll be the first to say how good an ice cold beer tastes while sitting in a hot tub when it’s cold outside.  Would we recommend a spa to friends and neighbors?  Absolutely, but only if they bought from Aqua Fun!
